Everything I Know About Success I Learned From Napoleon HillNapoleon Hill’s classic book Think and Grow Rich is one of the bestsellers of all time on personal achievement and success. Now, the executive director of the Napoleon Hill Foundation, Don M. Green, has written a new book, Everything I Know About Success I Learned From Napoleon Hill, to share the successful application of Hill’s principles to his life and other well-known figures’ lives.

Here’s some of our favourite advice and principles from the new book:

“You can be whatever you make up your mind to be. Being happy, wealthy, or successful is a product of the mind and its unlimited possibilities.”

“The power that makes accomplishments possible is belief. Belief or faith gives one the power to put forth the effort necessary to reach success and to avoid failure.”

“There should be no question that fixedness of purpose is the greatest element of human success.”

“With discipline, we make our habits, then our habits make us.”

“Most of our fears have very little basis. Remember, the issue is not so much what happens to us as to how we respond to what has happened.”

“Every individual has the power to change his status in life by changing the nature of his beliefs.”

“Discipline is a quality that you must learn, and the quicker you learn discipline and put it to use, the faster you will travel on the journey that others who have little or no discipline will only dream of.”

“Don’t be afraid to set big goals; it costs no more than setting small goals.”

“Every day, each of us should do something that moves him closer to a better life. Our lives must have a definite plan of action if we are to be a success in life.”

“While we can learn good traits from positive-minded people, we need to remove ourselves from negative people as much as possible. We become like those we associate with most of the time.”

“Opportunities present themselves every day, and you can learn to be prepared to act. Remember, all the opportunities in the world are a blessing only to those who take action.”

“To solve problems, you must first visualize a solution in your mind.”

“The power to choose is the greatest power that a person can possess.”
